Hello there, I am presently in Singapore seeing some of the sights and experiencing life here. I arrived here on the 17th of March 2014 and will return home on the 23rd of April 2014. You may be wondering why I am here and how did this trip come about. Let me tell you...
Several years ago while working at California Intercontinental University in Diamond Bar, California, I met Dr. Fathiah Inserto, the Dean of Student Affairs. She and I became friends, through my source of chocolate, and remained in contact even after I left the university. She is from Singapore and returns here, sometimes several times a year to teach English Communication Workshops at the College here.
She and I have talked about looking for opportunities that we might work together on. This seem like a good prospect. I had never been to Singapore in the past. When asked if I would like to go with her, for her next teaching assignment, I gladly accepted.
I provider her with my passport number and all the required information for travel to Singapore, and she promptly made the reservations for us to travel here. We actually flew from Los Angeles to San Francisco, then onto Hongkong, and then finally into Singapore's Changi International Airport.
Upon arrival, we were met by her friends, Sakina & Masadi who picked us up and delivered us to their home in Johor Baro (JB), Malaysia. They have a very nice home in JB located in a very nice neighborhood.
